WoodOwl’s Standard Ship Auger bits are our standard, value priced auger bits – but they are made from the same proprietary high-carbon steel as our premium bits. The Standard Ship Auger’s flutes are virtually burr-free and the entire length of the bit is wobble-free for less friction and vibration in deeper holes. The cutting edge is hand-sharpened and will slice through any nail it encounters. Most bits in the product line have a 7/16” quick-change shank, aside from the smallest diameters.
