For shops where space is tight, a jointer/planer combo delivers serious capability without the footprint of two separate machines. Instead of juggling a narrow jointer and a portable planer (often on wheels or in storage), you get wider jointing capacity and robust planing in one setup. That means fewer workarounds for common stock, more horsepower, and consistently better results.
The FS 41C T has a separate jointer fence that rides on a rail mounted to the jointer table. The fence has a cast iron knuckle and is tiltable to 45°. It also features a Jointer bed over 70”, a 16” width cutterhead, and comes with a USA OSHA-approved American guard. The planer is able to process up to 9” thick material.
The FS 41C – T comes with a “Tersa” Knife cutterhead. Tersa Knives are double-sided for long life, disposable, and lock into place when you start the machine — no special tools required! Optional Installation & TrainingWhen purchased, installation will be performed by an SCM factory-trained service technician or certified dealer technician. Installation is defined as assembling the machine to its “ready-to-run” state; it does not include floor/masonry work or running electrical, pneumatic, or dust extraction services. Training will be conducted on site by the technician after installation is completed.
WarrantySCM warrants that every machine is free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year beginning on the date the machinery is accepted by the customer. Belts, bearings, and common electrical parts carry a six-month warranty. This warranty does not include wearable items or maintenance required in the ordinary course of operation.
