FK2 – Overview

The Middle Atlantic FK2UCP series is a 2RU frame kit that accepts up to 5 modules in any combination.

How It WorksAssembles quickly and easily using either 2 or space frame kit or the UCP-CH Rackmount Chassis and your selections from the collection of prepunched modules corresponding to the connectors you need mounted (connectors not included). Modular assemblies simply bolt together using supplied hardware. A single tier of five modules bolts across a 2 space frame kit, two tiers of five modules across a 4 space frame kit and three tiers of five modules bolt across the 6 space frame kit. Modules are prepunched to accept XLR, Neutrik, ELCO, MIDI, Canare and a host of other connector configurations. The inherent strength of the interlocking system eliminates panel deflection while inserting or removing connectors. When completed, all hardware is flush to create a professional appearance with no unsightly gaps. Visible parts have a brushed and black anodized finish. Blank and vented panels are also available to fill unused spots.
