Description
Features & benefits
- The Microjig Splitters replace the riving knife on your saw when using zero clearance inserts.
- The precision drilling template supplied aligns exactly with the centre of the kerf, ensuring the perfect fit of the retrofit riving knife.
- To adapt the riving knife to the respective kerf, each side of a riving knife has an offset of 0.076mm.
- The special plastic compound provides the right combination of flexibility to prevent jamming and rigidity to prevent kickback.
- The included riving knife extensions are used when cutting hardwoods with potentially dangerous internal stresses. If the wood jams around the extensions, they are automatically ejected and remain in the kerf so that the wood does not jam the saw blade.
- Requires a Zero-clearance insert with at least 50mm behind blade at highest point
- Note: Not applicable for mitre cuts!
