These cutter cupsare designed to provide maximum grinding surface contact while allowing for imperfections in the preformed spheres. The soft, cast-iron material allows the grit to embed itself in the cutter cup, resulting in a faster grind.
Many lapidary and glass artists prefer to use these high quality cups. This item is sold in a set of 3 pieces for use with three headed sphere machines.
